| Have just completed a front crankshaft seal replacement, new timing chain, and a harmonic balancer rebuild. Felt it safer to use this tool than to try my luck with just the bolt and washer in order to preserve the crank threads and ensure a gentle install of the balancer. The balancer/crankshaft pulley slipped right on through the new seal and into place like I hoped it would!!! The instructions that come with the tool are outstanding as well. |
