The ride is much more stable and controlled with the high-pressure gas KYBs versus more OEM tyle shocks like the Monroes.
One note of caution - the rear shock travel is shorter than OEM and the KYB seals are delicate at full extension. If the car goes up on a lift and the rear axle goes into full hang putting the entire weight on the shocks the seals can break and ruin the shock. There are several reports of this on various forums and it happened to me as well. No problems with the front shocks as the T-Bird front suspension has bump stops on both ends which prevent the shocks from bottoming out.
